The WHY behind the Blog

Here we go again. I have tried to make blogs for years and do they ever get past the start up part? Short answer – NO. I’m starting this one with no expectations and see where it goes. I am a mom of two, who is going through a break up that is needed but not wanted with my baby’s father. Am I hopeful we’ll return together? Yes, but will it happen – only GOD knows. Through my life journey I have overcome so many obstacles and tried to pave my path on my own. I am about to turn 30 and now I have begun to realize there is nothing in life we can control as much as we want to. I have so many insecurities from the obstacles you will learn about in my life, that this break up is now telling me it is time for a change. Although on the exterior it may seem like I am a strong woman who can handle challenges, on the inside I am a shell of a person now trying to figure myself out again and work through some things from my past. If you’re here and want to read – this is my life story, maybe it’ll be cathartic at the very least and maybe I will be able to discover more of myself.

Eventually I would like to have an area for others to write their own testimony to share if they want to, but for now we’ll keep it simple.
